* H. Ross Perot … is the Dallas billionaire who started the Reform party and ran as its Presidential nominee twice.

* Going from zero to 270 … It takes 270 electoral votes to be elected President. Each state gets electoral votes which equal the number of Congressmen and Senators from that state. When you vote for President you are actually voting for an elector pledge to vote for your guy when the Electoral College meets later in the year in Washington.
