singer of a group called “The Lovin’ Spoonful.” Although Kaplan was the star of the
show, the actor who played the character “Vinnie Barbarino” became, by far, the
most famous. That would be John Travolta.
* Why not get some of those smart mice …? There were reports earlier this month,
of genetically altered mice who are much smarter than their “natural” brethren. If it
is true that elephants are afraid of mice, the Thai government, when it finishes with
the East Timor business, could use smart rodents like the Pied Piper of Hamlin to
march the elephants back to, where ever elephants come from.
