You Go, Girlfriend
Title: You Go, Girlfriend.
-- As noted below, U.S. District Court Judge Susan
Webber Wright, indicated yesterday she might still
charge President Clinton with contempt of court for
his false statements in the Paula Jones case.
She said she had waited until after the
Impeachment trial was over so as not to prejudice
that proceeding.
“Get Lanny! Get James! Get Shorty!”
-- Lanny is Lanny Davis. James is James Carville. “Get Shorty” is the title of a
book by Elmore Leonard which was later done as movie starring John Travolta.
The sequel, “Be Cool” is now a best seller.
“Hillary Rodham Clinton is talking about running …”
-- The Constitution requires someone running for U.S. Senator be a resident of the
State from which they are running for at least one year. New York has a history of
ignoring this requirement having elected a Kennedy and a Buckley who probably
had not met that requirement.
“Maybe he’ll hold a Cabinet meeting …”
-- It was widely reported last year that President Clinton held only two Cabinet
meetings: One in February to lie to his Cabinet, and another in August to tell them
he had lied to them. No member of the Cabinet resigned in protest.
