Now, Dasher. Now, Dancer. Now, Prancer and Vixen.

- TITLE: "Now, Dasher. Now, Dancer. Now, Prancer and Vixen." A part of the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Clark Moore (1779-1863) also known by its opening line, "Twas the Night Before Christmas." The poem was written in 1822 by Moore as a Christmas gift for his children.
Of all the thousands of parodies on this poem, I think one of the funniest is also the shortest. From Tommy Smothers of the Smothers Brothers: "Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up."
- "... horseback ..." This was really true as this October 21st photo attests:

- "...Maria Ouspenskaya ..." A famous character actress best known for playing a gypsy in several "Wolf Man" movies.
- "... Riverdance ..." The original show was run 8,327 times on
PBS during, I believe, the 1996 winter fundraising drive. I watched it 8,322 times. And not just because of Jean Butler.
I watched it for the Celtic harmonies of composer Bill Whelan.
- "... Saudi Prince ..." Here's a link to the CNN page regarding the whole Giuliani/Saudi Prince affair.
