L = mvr
TITLE: L = mvr. L (angular momentum) equals "m" the mass of the object; times "v" the velocity of the object, time "r" the distance of the object from the point around which it is moving.
- "… in the universe in which almost all of us reside …" We all know at least one person who exists in a universe we, like the characters in "Diner", know nothing about.
- "Wednesday, she had to leave the race …" Dole made a classy speech in which she blamed the system (see below) but not any individual. Nor, did she endorse anyone. One wire service report suggested there were more cameras covering her today than she has had at any time since Iowa.
- "… two Cabinet jobs …" Elizabeth Dole (Liddy NOT Libby) served as Secretary of Transportation and Secretary of Labor.
- "I am in Austin …" I AM in Austin, but I am not looking for cheap furniture.
- Off-the-point question. The World Series between the NY Yankees and the Atlanta Braves starts later this week. There will be a World Series game on Sunday night which the NFL and ESPN decided not to battle.
