Yea, But What's the State of THEIR Union?

Title: “… What’s the State of THEIR Union?” -- “Their Union” refers, of course, to Bill and Hillary’s marriage.

“Something appealing, Something appalling …” (Throughout) -- This is a reference to the title song from the Broadway Musical “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” titled “A Comedy Tonight.” (see also the last line which is a pun on THAT pun. The last line in the song is: “Tragedy tomorrow, Comedy tonight.”)

“… should have invited Keyser Sosa …” -- Keyser Sosa – which I believe is properly spelled Soze (So-ZEH), is the shadowy master criminal played by Kevin Spacey in the movie “Usual Suspects.” Usual Suspects, in the header of each of these Mullings, by the way, is not a reference to THAT movie, but is a reference to the line from the movie “Casablanca” where the Prefect of Police (Claude Raines) issues a call at the beginning and the end of the movie to “round up the usual suspects.”

“Animatronics …” -- The closest technology has come to life-like robots, popularized by the Abraham Lincoln character at Disney World.

“… Animatronics Al to have a Prilosec moment.” -- Prilosec is a common anti-ulcer medication.
