Book Report
Monday August 13, 2001
- TITLE: "Book Report" I read the whole thing. I didn't use one of the tricks of reading about five pages, skipping 50 reading 3, skipping 100, and quoting something from the end so it sounds like you really read it even though you were just looking for your name.
Which, by the way, is one of the problems with The Big Enchilada: No index. In Your Nation's Capital, political books are read from the back. Everyone looks in the index to see of they're listed THEN they go back and read the rest.
- " The Big Enchilada" Here is the link to Amazon.com to purchase the book.
- "Missouri Travel Report " Here is a review of my trip to the "Show Me" State.
- " Clive Cussler and Dick Francis " Clive Cussler is the author of the Dirk Pitt series of sea adventure novels; Dick Francis is the author of over 20 mystery novels all of which had some hook to the British horse racing scene.
- Mullings' Catchy Caption of the Day:
In a rare demonstration of subtlety, Yasser Arafat
gives the rest of the world the 'We're Number One' sign.
