"Leonard Gendron of Boston, center, is led from a scuffle on Boston Commons Sunday, July 25, 2004. A fight broke out when Gendron, carrying a sign with an anti-gay rights message, interfered with an anti-war rally on the Commons, on the eve of the Democratic National Convention."
I happened to be passing by when this happened. I asked one of the organizers if he thought it was a paradox to have a fight at a peace rally. He didn't answer, which didn't surprise me, as I am a trained professional.
