Three people were gored in a run that lasted three minutes and thirty-eight seconds. Hundreds of festival-goers accompany six fighting bulls every day at 8 a.m. along an 825-metre (0.51 mile) course to the bullring, where the animals are later killed in bullfights.
Of all the really dumb annual events on the planet, this one ranks right up at the top.
