This is a sign just before the only stone bridge on the George Washington Parkway. I've often thought about it being the International Symbol for "Broken Bus."
There's no good place to stop along the Parkway in a car, so I drove my scooter about five miles south of Old Town Alexandria, pulled off the road and took the photo.

I think it's safe to say that 2011 won't be the "Recovery Summer," either.
