Mullfoto of the Day
Bono and me in a private one-on-one, can-we-have-the-room meeting Wednesday night prior to his concert in Baltimore (I digitally added those heads into the shot). After the Benny Goodman orchestra, YouTube is my favorite group.
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
Two Druids meet on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, September, 1954, for what was considered the first Scottish gathering of Druids since 'ancient times.' Historians and scholars differ on key elements of Druidical rites, with some arguing that human sacrifice was part of the religion; others claiming that the oak tree was the central symbol and animistic emblem of the Druid's world; and still others weighing in with theories ranging from the Druids as a people influenced by (or perhaps even comprised of) extraterrestrials, to Druidical culture as a simple, quasi-mystical society similar to other, pre-scientific Iron Age communities found around the world.
Yeah, well, I don't know about any of that, but I do know these two guys weren't getting many dates dancing around in those get ups.
