Stop, Hey, What's that Sound?

- "... Buffalo Springfield ...": In 1966, at the height of the anti-everything movement a group unaccountable named "Buffalo Springfield" recorded a song unaccountably titled, "For What it's Worth" which was written by group member Steven Stills who was later a member of the group: Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young (who had also been a member of Buffalo Springfield), Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith.
Here's a link to the lyrics of the song in question.
- "... Inigo Montoya ...": One of the great characters (played by Mandy Patinkin) in one of the great movies (directed, drat the luck, by Rob Reiner). Fezzik is another terrific character who was played by the late Andre the Giant.
- "... NY Times ...": Here's the later-in-the-day rewrite of the NY Times piece bemoaning Rove being off the hook
- "... USA Today Poll ...": Here's the link to the USA Today/Gallup Poll data.
- "... truthout.org ...": Here's the link to the phony truthout.org story about Rove being indicted.
- "... Sounds of Silence ...": Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel's first mega-hit. Hello darkness my old friend ...
- Mullfoto of the Day
Why do I think this guy was orginally from New York City?
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
A woman is taken off the field by security guards near the end of an international rugby union match between New Zealand and Ireland in Hamilton, New Zealand
I know there's a "scrum" joke in here somewhere.
