Notwithstanding the English as a Second Language aspects of the language, I am interested in the growing need to start these kinds of notices with "be advised." Or "Be adviced." This sign works just as well if it starts with the words "This garage does not accept ..."

"Be advised" is the equivalent of "like" as in, "I was, like, 15 minutes behind schedule all day."

A useless vocal (or written) pause.
