I pressed the "DOWN" button on the elevator in the building I've been working out of in downtown Washington, DC. The left hand light came on - which is normally a green arrow indicating UP; but here was the left hand arrow - pointing UP - but indicating DOWN.

Every day, something like this happens. Do you see why it is so hard for me to get my arms around my world?
