Rooting for Saddam
Monday, March 31, 2003
- TITLE: "Rooting for Saddam" Unlike many of the Mullings' titles which are hyperbolic in the extreme - is that a redundancy? - this is an accurate reflection of at least the first two examples. I'm willing to give Ms. Sarandon the benefit of the doubt that she doesn't actually want the US to lose, but someone should ask her.
- "... Subscription Drive ..."
Here's the pitch for the Subscription Drive: Go here to read it.
- "... de Villepin ..." Here's a link to one of the London Newspaper stories about the French Foreign Minister's refusal to root for a US/UK victory in Iraq.
- "... New York Times ..." Here's the link to the NY Times coverage of at dope from Columbia University.
Note: This link will require you to provide your name and e-mail address to read the article. If you don't want to provide this to the New York Times, don't go there. However, it seems to be to be a pretty benign price to pay.
- "... Sarandon ..." Here's the link to the UPI piece about Ms. Sarandon.
- "... the battle scene from Les Miserables ..." This
is the scene I was thinking about.
- Mullfoto of the Day:
La Madeline is a
restaurant chain which, I believe, was started in Dallas, Texas.
Nevertheless, the TWO flags on this store in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia are a sign that the anti-French thing is getting serious.
Excellent.

- Mullings' Catchy Caption of the Day:
Dear Dixie Chicks...
