Mullfoto of the Day
Ok. My flights from California to Washington Reagan were: San Jose to Salt Lake City (1:15, First Class); then SLC to DCA (4 hours ... COACH!).
I went to the Delta Crown room in between flights to have a cup of coffee and a little nosh. I asked what my chances were to be upgraded to first class on the SLC-DCA leg and was told (nicely); Zero.
So I took, from the table in the Crown Room: a bagle, thing of yoghurt, another thing of cream cheese, yet another thing of jelly (not shown) a couple of napkins, a knife and a spoon.
I put them all into the baggie in which I usually keep change for parking meters in my backpack so I could have a little something to eat on the plane.
I. Am. Becoming. My. Mother.
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
"Schwester Helga" (Sister Helga) by German writer Thomas Hoenscheid. A cheesy love story dripping with kitsch: Doe-eyed sister Helga falls head over heels for handsome surgeon Robert. It's not the kind of story you would expect to find in an economics textbook
No, neither would I. Given the state of current educational thinking, I would have expected sister Helga to have fallen head-over-heels for pretty surgeon Liesl.
