A demonstration outside MY Starbucks in Old Town Alexandria, VA last weekend. Seems that Starbucks refused to join with other commercial establishments forbidding the carrying of a weapon, even with a carry permit, so these people came to protest.
I asked one guy what it was all about. He said "Virginia has some wierd gun laws." I said, "You mean laws that are in line with that pesky 2nd Amendment to the Constitution?" He left.

Nicolas Sarkozy left interpreters befuddled at an environment conference in Paris when he said world leaders had been handed a draft text "similar to volapuk." It turns out Volapuk is a language invented in the late 19th century by a German Roman Catholic priest, Johann Martin Schleyer, who dreamt of creating a universal means of communication.
Ok. Here's a basic rule for creating a universal means of communication: More than one person has to be able to understand it.
