CABBAGE SOUP: Members of a pro-Kremlin youth movement rally in front of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow on Monday, March 3, 2008, to protest against U.S. foreign policy. The banner at bottom reads, transliterating a statement in Russian into Latin letters: 'Teach your wife to make cabbage soup,' an echo of Putin's response last month to a journalist who asked why Russia had failed to reach an agreement with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on sending observers to monitor the presidential election. Putin accused the observers of trying to teach Russia and suggested instead they 'teach their wives to make cabbage soup.'
