    Here's a map of the Middle East - you can barely see Bahrain in the Persian Gulf.  In 1995, when I worked for EDS, I opened an office in Bahrain to oversee EDS' Middle Eastern operations.

 -  "... Arab League   ..."  The Arab League was establish in 1945 "to promote economic, social, political, and military cooperation."  There are 22 members including the Palestine Liberation Organization:
Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen, Palestine Liberation Organization
