This Barnes & Noble has devoted an awful lot of space - right inside the front doors - to its "Nook" electronic book reader.

B & N (at least this one) no longer has a music section. A clerk told me that they couldn't compete with iTunes and it didn't make sense (or cents) to carry all that inventory when people could go on-line and download the one or two songs off an album that they wanted.

Borders has gone into Chapter 11 bankruptcy because they didn't appear to understand the electronic book biz at all and is suffering the consequences.
