Mullfoto of the Day
When Airlines go Bankrupt: In this edition, note the fact that the information on the in-flight apparatus is in ... French. However, I was travelling to Cincinnati. The airport code for Cincinnati is CVG (Covington, Kentucky where the airport is actually located).
I worried that the pilot had gotten a flight plan to CDG - Charles de Gaulle Airport just outside Paris.
After some discussion it was decided I would not have to spend the rest of the flight in plastic handcuffs.
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
A 1911 rare baseball card of Honus Wagner of the Pittsburgh Pirates on display at Sotheby's in New York in 2005. The fabled T206 Honus Wagner card, from 1909, recognized as the most valuable souvenir trading card in existence, was purchased for a record 2.35 million dollars by an unknown California collector.
Maybe David Geffen found out that Bill Clinton was bidding on it.
