- " How Our Laws are Made ...": Here's a link to the Library of Congress publication How Our Laws are Made.
- " Marbury v Madison ...": Here's a pretty good summary of what that case was all about.
- " U.S. Constitution ...": Here's a link to the U.S. Constitution - in this case from Cornell University Law School where I'm pretty sure Andy Bernard never went.
- " Andy Bernard ...": A character on the NBC comedy "The Office" played by Ed Helms who, in the show, attended Cornell University enroute to his career selling paper in Scranton, Pa.
Mullfotos of the Day
I know this is one of those low-profile tires and all ... but I still think this is going flat.
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
A stone chapel is shown on the edge of Lake Tekapo under the sparkling sky in New Zealand's South Island on Nov. 2, 2007. Tekapo's town folk are on a mission to protect the vast starry blanket spanning their heavens, even as the night sky disappears behind light and air pollution in many parts of the globe.
I like the way the AP refers to the citizens of Lake Tekapo as the "town folk." Caption writer must live in New York City. Also those town folk's "mission to protect the vast starry blanket" is misguided. The Vast Starry Blanket will be there long after global warming puts the town folk of Lake Tekapo underwater. What they are trying to protect is their view of the VSB.
