- " LATE BREAKING NEWS ... ": As if the Dems didn't have enough trouble; this came to me just after I hit the "SEND" key simultaneously from Mullfaves Brian McCormack & Ginny Wolfe:
The Democratic nominee for Illinois lieutenant governor, Scott Lee Cohen, dropped out of the race Sunday evening, the Associated Press reports. Since winning the nomination, charges that Cohen had abused his ex-wife and threatened an ex-girlfriend with a knife has circulated widely, and state Democrats had called on him to leave the race.
The hits just keep on comin'!
Mullfoto of the Day
Ok. Maybe, just maybe, I should have held on to the Mullmobile, a four-wheel-drive Land Rover Discovery, instead of taking the cash-for-clunkers deal to buy the Ford Focus which is under this glacier on South Union Street in Alexandria, VA.
Catchy Caption of the Day
Actual Caption:
Activists of the Ukrainian women's movement FEMEN stage a protest at a polling station in Kiev. Four young women naked from the waist up barged into a Ukrainian polling station on Sunday and held a rowdy protest just before a candidate in the country's presidential election cast his ballot there.
If I'd have known that might happen, I would have gone to Ukraine for run-off rather than for the first round!
