ABC's Jake Tapper reported that the story was given credence because participants in the high-level conference call discussing the addition of Carville and Begala had told others about it.Two of those participants were … Carville and Begala (who told Tapper that the story was NOT true) but that's not the interesting point.
The interesting point is: If Carville and Begala were on the conference call to discuss how to fix the Clinton campaign, doesn't that already qualify them as Senior Advisors?

Rich, The really ugly consequence of Hillary's win in NH is going to be the incessant repetition of "comeback kid". I had a better one that I expressed to my wife this morning, but it isn't suitable for public consumption. Use your imagination.

Finally.... Fred Thompson has stood up to be counted & made his positions known! Fred has been "so low keyed" that many have had doubts he was even running for office.
This has unfortunately led to permitting the media to discount him, his message, his potential, and his electability!
Just as when Fred stood up to the sycophantic question by the reporter- moderator about Global Warming, by attempting reduce the issue to a "we all agree this is a dire situation needing draconian legislative & financial actions, so do you agree we must all jump off the bridge tomorrow to save the day" stupid question.
When Fred told her he was not raising his hand to respond to this difficult question & issue, I almost jumped through the TV screen to kiss him! That answer represents the ability & the intellect of the Fred Thompson I want to lead my nation.
Too bad that until the last debate, Fred has been quietly plodding along. That leads people to think he really does not want the job. It also causes many to decide to support one or the other of the candidates because they fear voting for a guy who really is not interested is a wasted vote or wasted effort to push him as the candidate we should all get behind.
Fred need to stand out & his intellect can do that, "IF" he speaks up & out on issues.
He need not go negative, although many of the candidates deserve such responses. He does need to be heard & to do so he must become more outspoken & louder, at many opportunities. Or he needs to create those opportunities.
This race will NOT be won by the nice guy or the quiet guy!
So thanks for speaking out at the debate Fred. Its nice to hear you are in this race & take it seriously.
Now, KEEP IT UP!!!!!!
Rich,
Why should Independent voters vote in a party's primary ?
In my homestate of Nebraska, registered 'Indies' could vote in non-partisan primaries (State Legislature, for example) but not in Republican, Democrat, or any other party's primary.
Most of the people I knew back then that registered Independent did it because they were less likely to be called for jury or election duty. Others followed Marxism - "I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member." Groucho Marx, that is.
Why should they have a say in
nominating someone for a party they won't affiliate with ?
Regards, Terry
PS- Tell Sen. Thompson to keep it up!
