Baby Steps
In my life, I have had many opportunities to make a great deal of money by being in at the front end of great movements.
When Apple Computers first appeared, I didn't think they would last. If you couldn't deal with a "C:>" prompt you shouldn't own a computer.
When Microsoft Windows first appeared, I didn't think IT would last: If you couldn't deal with a "C:>" prompt you still shouldn't own a computer.
When AOL began, I refused to believe that anyone would need a service which got them onto the Internet when you could get onto the Internet by Compuserve. There's a "C:>" prompt line in there somewhere.
When the Housing Boom erupted in about 2000, I was convinced it was a short-term bubble and, instead, rented the double-wide I live in today, OK that's not true, but you are getting the drift.
All that to say, I never thought this "blogging" thing would last. If you can't write 700 words, three days-a-week you shouldn't be posting anything to the Internet.
So. Here is the opening posting of the Mullings-BLOG. This will be in addition to, not instead of, the regular three-day-a-week, 700 word Mullings that has sustained me lo these many years.
The Mullings-BLOG (if you can think of a better name, let me know) will be irregular, irreverent, irrelevant, irritating ... you get it.
Check back often. Write back often. Let's see where this takes us.
