The John Alvis Scholarship Fund
Albert. J. Pfister Cardiac Surgery Fellowship
Since it began in March of 1998, Mullings has become an important source of wit, little-known facts, opinion, and ocassionally wisdom about political and cultural life in America.
There are about 25,000 people in the Mullings database. Of those, only about 3.8% are paid subscribers.
Like most writers, I am very interested in having what I produce, read by the widest possible audience. I firmly believe that when people are introduced to Mullings, they are very
likely to become a regular reader.
But, to be able to produce three columns a week, a
Secret Decoder Ring page each day, and Travelogues
(when circumstances dictate) I need your help. And I need it today.
Your
$25 subsciption will help keep Mullings in front of reporters, political pros (of BOTH parties),
officials at the federal and state government levels, and political insiders across the country.
The notion of having Mullings "strong and independent" is no small matter. There have been times when the lure of writing Mullings for one organization (as I did for GOPAC when it started) is sometimes very strong.
A reporter from a great metropolitan newspaper e-mailed me about the "independent" issue and I e-mailed back: "I'm, for example, independent of the New York Times!"
To keep Mullings "strong" requires that I have the freedom to spend the time and energy to produce a product which I hope you have come to expect
A year ago, you responded with great enthusiasm to my plea for paid subscriptions and provided enough revenue which, when added to the advertising, made it possible for Mullings to continue as an independent, Conservative and, for the most part, optimistic voice on the Web.
Now I am coming to you again.
Readership of the e-mail version continues to click upward. And visits to the Web Page continue to grow: January set an all-time Mullings record with over 142,000 page views considered an excellent measure of Internet popularity.
If you believe Mullings provides you with $25 worth of information, thoughtful commentary, laughs, odd facts, photos, and ammunition for you to use against your Liberal friends, then please take out your credit card and help keep Mullings strong.
A few notes about the form. You must not put a decimal point in the amount box. It will only accept whole numbers.
The address fields, as I understand it, are necessary to match up with your credit card for safety purposes.
If you are not comfortable with putting your credit card number on the Internet, here is the snail mail address:
If you like the column, the Secret Decoder Ring and the Travelogues, please subscribe today.
Thank you,
